The Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is an email authentication system that detects forged sender addresses while the email is being delivered. SPF, on the other hand, is confined to detecting a forged sender claim in the email’s envelope, which is used when it bounces.
Follow these simple steps to configure SPF on your Yandex account:
- Log in to your DNS management console. If you use Yandex as your hosting service, click here.
- Go to the DNS Records section and modify the record if you already have one. You can add a new SPF record if you don’t have an existing record. Enter the values as follows:
Resource: TXT
Name: @ or default
TTL: 21600
Value: v=spf1 include:_spf.yandex.net ~all (if you don’t have an existing record)
v=spf1 include:spf.yourdomain.com include:_spf.yandex.net ~all (if you have an existing record for your domain)
- Click on Save and wait for 24 hours for the changes to take effect.
