How to Set Up SPF for Yandex?

The Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is an email authentication system that detects forged sender addresses while the email is being delivered. SPF, on the other hand, is confined to detecting a forged sender claim in the email’s envelope, which is used when it bounces.

Follow these simple steps to configure SPF on your Yandex account:

  • Log in to your DNS management console. If you use Yandex as your hosting service, click here.
  • Go to the DNS Records section and modify the record if you already have one. You can add a new SPF record if you don’t have an existing record. Enter the values as follows:

Resource: TXT

Name: @ or default

TTL: 21600

Value: v=spf1 include:_spf.yandex.net ~all (if you don’t have an existing record)

v=spf1 include:spf.yourdomain.com include:_spf.yandex.net ~all (if you have an                       existing record for your domain)

  • Click on Save and wait for 24 hours for the changes to take effect.
